Helping the individuals we serve become as self-sufficient as possible is our primary focus.
Our team consists of experienced, innovative staff members who give personal attention to each individual served. Their dedicated, professional services are available to all on an individual, confidential basis.
Helping people with disabilities enjoy fuller lives is good for the individual and the community. Mary* is an example of our success. After many years of living in an institution with twenty-four hour support, Mary had an opportunity to move into a supported living apartment. At first, Mary was understandably concerned about this move. With the support of RHDD’s caring staff, Mary successfully transitioned to living in an apartment with limited services. Five years ago, Mary and her roommate purchased their own home. She currently enjoys the same social and community activities that we all may take for granted such as camping, taking a walk, shopping, and attending church independently.
